About custom proxy cards: Proxy cards are not tournament legal unless they get permission from the event organizer.
During the last years, more MTG events started to allow proxy cards to grow the community, especially for older and more expensive formats such as Vintage, Legacy, and Commander. Please double-check before any event.
Many players also enjoy custom proxy cards in their commander decks or cubes.
